What you should expect from anything published here.
Sources should be traceable.
When a piece relies on clinical guidance or research, the underlying source should be identifiable.
Recommendations and associations are not the same thing.
We separate established guidance from observational findings, early evidence and reasonable interpretation.
Numbers need context.
A threshold, target or statistic should not be presented as universally applicable when it is not.
Uncertainty stays visible.
“We do not know yet” is a legitimate conclusion. We do not fill uncertainty with confidence.
No supplement-sales incentive.
The Liver Translator is not built around selling a supplement as the answer to a complex metabolic condition.
Individual medical decisions go back to clinicians.
Diagnosis, staging, medications, pregnancy, co-existing conditions and personalised treatment require qualified care.
THE BOUNDARY
Education can help you ask a better question. It cannot answer every personal medical question.
Content on The Liver Translator is general health education. It is not diagnosis, staging, treatment, prescribing, emergency advice or a substitute for a clinician who knows your medical history.
Where individual circumstances materially change the answer, the content should say so.
CORRECTIONS
Health information should be correctable.
Evidence changes. Guidance changes. Errors can happen. When a meaningful factual error is identified, our aim is to correct it rather than quietly defend outdated wording.
